Since the inception of Peak, the company has established and conformed to stringent QA / QC guidelines for the design and manufacture of its specialist products. In conjunction with documenting and demonstrating a clear and concise management system, Peak has now been officially certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) to conform to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008. The accreditation supports the quality of Peak’s products and services and unlocks avenues to new markets. The core of Peak’s engineering system is driven by the in-house database system called AIMS (Administrative Information Management System). AIMS is specifically designed and tailor made to manage Peak’s business by closely following the engineering process from design to delivery. AIMS underpins all of the necessary documentation and engineering processes, providing a complete record of all engineering data and a full traceability of the engineering process from engineering drawings though to shipping of tools and parts. As such AIMS provides 100% traceability of all engineering parts and tools as required by Peak and client QA/QC policies. AIMS is continually improving and as Peak expands the operating envelope of the AIMS system, AIMS is being expanded to bring all of the company’s business under the umbrella of a fully integrated but flexible system. The Database is web accessible worldwide, allowing Peak’s remote offices to work from a central, coherent and live system. Peak sees the continuous maintenance of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 and the expansion of AIMS as two significant tools which will contribute significantly to ensuring the continuous improvement of Peak’s process and the quality of product delivered to our clients.
